My main office is in the medical office building attached to the new Novato OFFICE HOURSWhen calling for an appointment, please let the office staff know the nature of your problem and reason for your visit to allow us to appropriately schedule your appointment. If your problem is urgent please let us know and we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible. Office hours are 8:30-5:00. Monday-Office. Tuesday-Surgery. Wednesday-Office. Thursday-Surgery. Friday-Office. My office hours are by appointment so we can provide you with the best and most convenient service for you. We make every effort to stay on schedule but realistically operations do not always end on schedule and emergencies occur. We will try and inform you of any delays promptly as we understand your time is valuable. Please give us 24 hours notice for any cancellations. EMERGENCY CAREIf you have an emergency we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible. Should an emergency arise after hours you may dial our office number, 898-4211, and you will receive instructions on how to page me automatically and I will return your call as soon as possible. OFFICE CHARGES AND BILLINGIf you have any questions about fees, please feel free to discuss them with the office staff and should you have further questions, I will be happy to discuss them with you. Please provide us with information about your insurance coverage at the time of your first visit. We will bill your insurance as a courtesy to you, our patient. Remember, that your insurance may pay only a percentage of the bill and you are responsible for unpaid balances, co-payments, or deductibles, which vary considerably from insurance plan to insurance plan. When you come to the office please advise the office staff of any change in address, phone number, or insurance coverage that may have occurred. X-RAYSWe have modern hospital grade x-ray equipment in our office and can provide in-office x-ray services.PRESCRIPTION REFILLSPrescriptions are best refilled by having your pharmacy contact us during regular office hours and we can then approve your refill.PHONE CALLSAll patients are encouraged to call the office if you have any problems or questions about your care. My staff can answer the majority of your questions and I will be happy to speak to you about any medical issues. I generally return calls in the evening.PARKING/WHEELCHAIR ACCESS.Handicapped parking is available at the entrance to the office. A handicapped sticker is not needed for these spaces if you truly need them. If you require a wheelchair we will meet you at your car with the wheelchair. We can also provide you with forms for obtaining a DMV handicapped sticker if this is needed. |
